Nice pub in which to slake our thirst after a 10 mile walk. Bass was the only beer on which I declined opting for Anchor Steam beer instead. Stunning views over St Ouen's bay

The Lamplighter, St Helier
I'm sure that it will be no surprise to pub goers in Jersey that I found the Lamplighter to be easily the best pub that I visited during my stay. Eight reals ales were on, always including one from Skinners and others from Randalls, White Rock, Ringwood, Upham and Revisionist breweries amongst others. All were in tip top condition. One of the very best pubs you'll find anywhere.
