I love this pub/bar because the beer is nice and cold and rather cheap compared to some of the pubs i have been to in the last couple of weeks. There is also a fishing lake were you can stay all weekend and enjoy the relaxing lake whilst the missus can chill in the garden with a glass of wine and the kids can play on the bouncy castle. and the staff know how to keep their customer's happy :-)

Have recently discovered this pub and so pleased I have :-)! Its a warm and friendly pub with a great atmosphere and quality food. It has a wonderful child friendly garden with free bouncy castle beautiful views of the lake and an outside bar during the summer. There are many events in the evenings including disco/karaoke and live music. I would recommend this pub to families couples and singles!!!!!!

Nice old pub on the Upper Halliford Road between Shepperton and Sunbury Cross. Good food in Restaurant, sometimes has rooms to let.

Been to this pub many time with and without my children. Receved a very warm friendly welcome every time. I believe this is a family run pub. The food is fantastic - I believe this pub won the best food award for 2007/2008. The staff are very friendly and very helpful in many ways. This is a proper village pub with several games consisting of a pool table, dart board, crib, cards. and weather permitting, they have a free bouncy castle for the kids in the beer garden. I have been to this pub in the evenings also when they have had excelent live music. This pub has entertained my whole family many times. I have also noticed they do alot for charity. And last but not least -the suday roasts are a must have!!! Gets so busy that tables must be booked in advance. I cant praise this pub enough. We love it!!

I remember when this was the Tickled Trout and you had to book well in advance to get a table. Then with the SA manager the food was first class and the service and wine list excellent. After he left it went downhill overnight and now has returned as the Bugle again. I popped in for a quick beer, lets say it was a quick one as it had returned to it less than delightful former 'glory'. Pity as the area could do with a good pub.

Ahhh, so it's still listed as Trawlers!
Popped in mid-refit, had a couple of beers on the go (Adnams Bitter, London Pride) in decent nick so that's a good start!
Hard to make too much of a judgement on the interior, but the barmaid didn't seem to actually know much about her job, and we had a quick chat with a CAMRAS version of Freddie Mercury.
Will pop back in again once Bob the Builder has moved out and the refurb has settled in.

Was called "The Bugle" about 5 years ago when it had paying customers. 2 pointless refits later, it is the Bugle again!
