Fantastic food and service. Good couple of bitters on at all times. Best pub in Bexhill by a yard.

In here last Saturday early afternoon and fairly busy with diners. Nice and comfortable bar. Has 3 hand pumps for ales. 1 for Greene King IPA. 1 for Wells Bombadere & 1 for Haveys Best Bitter. I tried the latter which was so nice I had another @ £3.40 a pint.

Popped into this pub on a weekend visit to Bexhill, as read that it is one of the more favourable ones in the area. It was a mildly sunny day, but was very quiet (there was one other couple having a Saturday afternoon lunch). It seemed a decent pub, nice interior and outside, but unfortunately nothing id say was fantastic. Looks like theres a restaurant section for dinners, a couple of ales on tap. Worthwhile for sure, would pop in for but not necessarily go out the way for

Agree that this is the best pub in Bexhill, delicious home-cooked meals and very friendly staff and regulars. Lovely garden and dog-friendly.

Great pub. Great food. Great real ales and even has Leffe for the other half! We have had several meals in this pub and can highly recommend the food as well as the beer. Good garden and good parking.

Nice pub, friendly staff, some good real ales, food tasty - sadly driving so could only sample one of the beers. Well worth a visit if you are in the area

10 of us turned up in a hurry to eat and I asked if we could sit together. The staff made no fuss over moving 2 tables so we could all sit together and took our drinks order as soon as we had sat down. We all ordered different things and some of us gave special orders. All the meals were good quality and arrived together. I was very impressed and would go there again in a heartbeat. Sorry, we didn't try the beer, too many of us were driving.

The best pub in Bexhill for the real ale drinker. Three beers available, I sampled two, both served in very good condition. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere make this a pleasant place to spend some time. Excellent food as well.

Historic and charming. Rumour has it that composer Nathan Whitington used to play here occasionally a long while back.
