incidentally - though there are some who hate comments regarding unlisted pubs., the GBG listed Unicorn served up a pretty crap pint of Sharp's Atlantic (their only non GK offering). Would rate it at best a measly 2 but pubs can't be added anymore.

Okay for what it is - has that 'pub & dining ' interior though it's too small to be one of those. Four ales on but hey were all generic GK relatives so I went for a pint of Kozel instead (at £4.65 a pint). Kind of OK but not somewhere you'd go out of your way to.

In here last Saturday just before 1.00pm and about a half dozen others present. It’s nice and comfortable and a big plasma screen was showing football focus (just ending). They have 4 hand pulls for Belhaven Old Gold, Doom Bore, Adnams Southwold Bitter and Bass. I had a pint of the later which was very nice and cost £3.40. There is a GBG sticker in the door window dated 2014 but I didn’t see one dated 2015.

Ridiculously close to the M1 and a home made carbonara went down well. Shropshire Gold was on tap although the need to drive the motor prevented us from indulging. The garden in June is like a mini Chelsea flower show.

Traditional pub meeting needs of a wide range of pubgoers very well. Pleasant garden complemented an old-fashioned interior. Had the Bass, which was good enough but not inspirational.

Drink down here if you can give it out but can't take it.

Enjoyed watching the illegal gambling at the bar! Very locally but beer was decent, staff friendly, Fire roaring & generally proper well maintained pub atmosphere

visited for the second time early Saturday evening for my pint of Landlord, enjoyed in the absolutely massive split level beer garden. Beer quality was not as top notch as previously experienced, and the range is never going to be inspirational but a good overall experience to be had in here.

I believe the landlord has changed in last 6 months. Anyway, called in here on Saturday early evening recently. Although relatively quiet when we walked in, was busy by time we left one pint later. Good pint - if eating could be a bit of a squash as tables were close together

Very close to Jn 20 M1. Friendly welcome. Excellently kept Timmmy Taylors Landlord and a nice ploughmans. Very kindly and willingly gave directions to a local petrol station. Lots of motorsport and rugby memorabilia

Called in enroute from down south back up north. Sampled a very good couple of pints of Tim Taylors Landlord and a chille con carne which was delicious. A clean and welcoming pub which is well worth a visit and easily accesible, being just off the M1.Luckily a mate was driving, hence the beers.
