Have been in a few times and have to say that this is certainly one of the best pubs in Gillingham. Well maintained interior, they have a dart board and pool table, plus there's also a very pleasant outside seating area. I understand they also do a decent Sunday roast.
It's not in the most salubrious area of Gillingham but don't let that put you off. I used to drink in the Roseneath years ago, which was just round the corner and this place has a very similar feel to it. Gillingham needs more pubs like this.

What a lovely little find. I was in Gillingham with a bit of time to spare so called in. I am not a fan of this modern pub naming malarky ("scuffy ducks"; "stumble Inn" etc) but dont let the name put you off this a lovely little place.
From the off, they had mild on... cracking effort. A quick London Pride followed it switfly after. The landlady, who was very nice, apologised for the lack of rolls (it was 5PM so to be expected).
I think recognising that I was new in there, the landlady asked a couple of regulars to keep the noise down a bit. I had not minded one bit, but the thoughfulness was a nice touch.
A good selection of newspapers. Bogs clean and tidy.
If you have time to kill, give this one a try and I dont think you will be disappointed.

Great little pub . What a gem . Spent new years eve there and had a great time . Jackie the land lady even let us go and buy food and eat it there on the night . Very friendly and good value for money . Will spend more time there . Oh what a beautiful garden .

Nice little corner public house. The garden is well laid out and makes for a nice smoking area.I think there was only about 2 real ales but the service was excellent.

Ventured in yesterday, and was greeted by two of the funniest regulars I think I've ever encountered in a pub. Beer not cheap, but you don't mind when the surroundings are like this.
Usually backstreet Medway boozers scare me, but this one was good, and I will be going back.
Gets a 5 because of the prices (2.95 for Foster's).

Formerly known as The Victory, The Scruffy Duck is friendly enough, down to earth locals pub situated just away from the high street. I paid a visit yesterday afternoon (April 21st) and was impressed enough. The pub is clean, tidy, well presented and the not a place where non-regulars are made to feel unwelcome. Ales on offer included Speckled Hen and the special was IPA Smooth at 1.50 a pint. All in all, this is quite an acceptable litter boozer; though watch out for the shocking lime colour walls on the way to the gents
