Traditional local with a 50/50 population of old Irish racing gents and real (local)Tottenham fans. Predominantly male clientele but very friendly, sometimes too friendly and difficult to escape from! Great staff and a reasonable selection of well kept beers. Only problem is the barman keeps pouring you another pint before you get to the bar so it's really hard to leave!

Pub not too bad, large selection of lagers and one real ale which I didn't try.
Bar staff friendly although looking rather ragged. Been coming here with colleagues on and off for past 7 years.
All in all a nice pub for the area but often have run out of Guinness which 4 of my colleagues drink. Much better than the filthy dump next door with filthy bar and hagged bar maid, namely The Ship.
The landlord here at the Elbow is friendly and always says hello, however his personal hygiene is something to be desired and can be quite overpowering when you walk in. Nevertheless not a bad pub.

Visited 31-Aug-10
Bombadier was in awful condition, pub was almost empty.
This has been a fall from grace since my last visit a few years back when the beer was pretty good.
Staff friendly and service quick - about the only good points.

Hi, I am a real ale lover and Everton supporter from Venice (Italy), visiting the UK very often.

We (me and my girlfriend) popped into this pub a week ago (coming from Seven Sisters tube station) at about 11:30am the day of the match Tottenham - Everton, this is a great boozer full of Spurs supporters, I was not wearing blue colors but I had no problems at all with the locals, very friendly and chatty.

The interior has its charm, traditional and simply wooden pub with several lcd screens showing Sky Sports, and above all great real ales on top, three pumps were on: Courage, Bombardier and another one I don't remember, I tried them all and were all in excellent nick, and very very cheap! Of course they were served in plastic glasses, as always happens the day of the match at The lane.

We really enjoyed our staying at the Elbow Room, great atmosphere, the staff is kind and the clientele very nice, extremely cheap (and good) beers, a must to see in Tottenham before a Spurs game.

This is a good pub that has a much more local feel than most high street boozers. The barman was very friendly and my pint of Cumberland was nice enough. Courage Best and Bombardier were also available alongside a selection of standard lagers. There are plenty of screens and the pub shows Sky Sports and Setanta.

There is a small decked smoking area out the back next to the railway arches and whilst I was out there a bloke came along and started feeding some cats with chicken slices. I counted ten, but Im sure there were more and this guy seemed to know them all by name!

I liked it in here and wouldnt protest if I had to return.

I've only visited on matchdays, but I think this place is the best bet for a pint if you're walking to the ground from Seven Sisters. Three real ales available and it's 1.90 a pint. Nice feel to the interior as well.

Very funny pub, in the right and wrong way. Live not to far from here, go in now again, cheap beer, not too badly kept re the ale. Very funny on a Friday. not sure about the view comment from Vera below, you have a very steep railway embankment at the back, and Tottenham High Road, not the best, out the front. Still, for the area, not a bad boozer like!

This is a great pub with cheap booze - good atmosphere and banter with Tottenham locals - would not stay in here all day or night but ideal for a few swift pints. Well worth a visit.

I like the views from here. Good Kronenbourg

Tottenham is a real ale desert, so I was very happy when this place started serving a choice of ales recently. Directors, Youngs bitter and Courage bitter all now sold, though quality is sometimes not great. A friendly and typically crazy Tottenham crowd make this busy pub a good place for a few jars. Only downside is its always very smoky (though not for long - ha! ha!)

Many years ago, this place was an early Wetherspoons before they began to take over the world and you can still sense the Wetherspoons brand in the air. They still do decent and cheap beers albeit not on a Spoons scale. A pint of Directors will currently set you back 1.65 (plastic glasses on Tottenham match days). Courage Best and Youngs are also available. The pub is fairly small and on Spurs match days can get very busy but I have always found the service acceptable even at its busiest. Overall the pub is fairly cosy and intimate with carpets throughout and several pillars and posts making the place appear smaller. There is a raised area screened off by a low wooden division with a Big Screen and 3 more TVs are dotted about the pub along with the ubiquitous fruit machines. There is Spurs memorabilia by the bucket load - flags, banners, scarves, photos, programmes etc. The pub currently resembles a Santas grotto and full marks to the staff for the obvious effort that has gone into the decoration. Quite spectacular without being obscenely tacky.
