I'm always happy to go to visit my pals in Warwick as in invariably means that we'll end up here. A friendly town pub with an amazing beer garden, stretching down to St Nicholas' Park. Always found the beer to be of a high standard. The food is very good too although service can be chaotic at weekends, during the week however, it is populated by yummy mummies and ladies who lunch - and that's no bad thing in my book!
I have had some wonderful Saturday afternoons out in the beer garden followed by the walk home along the canal.
Warning: if like me you sometimes get carried and have to leave the car in the (public) car park - get up early to collect it!! The traffic wardens are really on the ball round here!!!

Looks very nice inside and here my review should end because I've never succeeded in actually buying a drink here. Reason being the bar staff are fully occupied dealing with the pompous "mine is the only voice you need to hear" after work local crowd buying huge rounds. Watched this irritating spectacle for about 10 minutes then gave up and walked out.

Nice old pub Good selection of Beers and 'er indoors' loved the Sparkling Wine. A little small but full of charm, well worth a visit.

This is a great little pub with a cracking atmosphere and is now a definite must for our occasional trips to Warwick. Ok its a Chas Wells pub, so the beer is a little staid, although it did have Youngs Winter Warmer available, the one good thing about the Wells & Youngs combo, but the beer we had was in good nick. Warm and welcoming, lovely barmaids, plenty of little nooks and crannies to fit into. We like it a lot.

Great Pub, with tons of character. Visited on a very chilly day at lunch time and the bowl of Scotch broth went down a treat, as did the welcoming log fire! Beers kept in excellent condition. The Young's Winter Warmer was in top form, as was the Everard's Tiger the following evening. Food only served at lunchtime, but there are plenty of places to eat well in the evening after a visit here!

Bombardier was good. Friendly pub & worth a visit.

Cosy little pub with real wood fires, nice beer (Davenports just put on as the Fursty Ferret had expired) and good food. It's a Charles Wells pub so Bombardier was also on tap. Service was very pleasant and from the looks of it they have a huge beer garden out the back. Well recommended
