| I'm always happy to go to visit my pals in Warwick as in invariably means that we'll end up here. A friendly town pub with an amazing beer garden, stretching down to St Nicholas' Park. Always found the beer to be of a high standard. The food is very good too although service can be chaotic at weekends, during the week however, it is populated by yummy mummies and ladies who lunch - and that's no bad thing in my book! I have had some wonderful Saturday afternoons out in the beer garden followed by the walk home along the canal. Warning: if like me you sometimes get carried and have to leave the car in the (public) car park - get up early to collect it!! | Looks very nice inside and here my review should end because I've never succeeded in actually buying a drink here. Reason being the bar staff are fully occupied dealing with the pompous "mine is the only voice you need to hear" after work local crowd buying huge rounds. | This is a great little pub with a cracking atmosphere and is now a definite must for our occasional trips to Warwick. Ok its a Chas Wells pub, so the beer is a little staid, although it did have Youngs Winter Warmer available, the one good thing about the Wells & Youngs combo, but the beer we had was in good nick.
