Pub closed - DO not confuse with the Swan (FST) at Staines Bridge.
|
SWAN INN (Staines Moor) closed about 16months ago...! Now a private house. What a shame. Such a great location. Maybe one day it will re-open (if we get thru' this economic 'down-turn'...!!) TeeJay (sad)!

Pub is still open!
Had Sunday lunch their this weekend. Was wonderful food, open fires and the view of the river is amazing.
Great ales too!

Earlier post prompted me to register and comment! This pub is the best kept secret in Staines - friendly prompt service, good food and well kept beer.

This is Tom the licencee of the Swan, sorry about comment made on the 6th of september as it is just a sad persons way of trying to make a great pub look bad. the person who decided to make things personal obviously has nothing better to do with there time.

Well what can you say some people have no manners, as for Danni a more charming girl you could not meet always polite helpful to the end goes that bit further if you have kids, repeated clients returning week on week for bad food must be mugs or is this sour grapes i read ??

this is probably one of the most frendliest places i have ever been, the bar staff are great very friendly made me feel really welcome i had one of the most nicest meals the other it was to die for i had homemade carbonara and i have been to italy but never had a dish like it and the cheesecake i had was homemade and really really nice. the prices in this place are great for value, we had a 2 course meal and there was me and my wife and it come to under 25 pound and thats with drinks aswell.
the only thing i can say about this pub is a thumbs up very clean, very nice, good prices .
will be back as soon as possible.

"Do not cease to drink beer, to eat, to intoxicate thyself, to make love, and to celebrate the good days." - (Ancient Egyptian Credo).
So thats what we did, in the 'sleepy' Swan Inn...! Not all at the same time tho'..!! Happy celebrations..! TJ

Not many people seem to have found this pub yet! So you'll guarantee a seat.. staff were friendly & service was efficient. However, you will need to get there by vehicular transport, its about a mile walk from 'Two Rivers' and the nearest bus stop, and nearer a 2 mile walk from Staines rail station. But well worth the effort!! TJ

New 'No Smoking' pub! Recently refurbished, with 'country pub' atmosphere, offering traditional food, a la carte or bar menu. On the edge of Staines Moor, off the track a bit, behind 'Two Rivers' complex in Staines! But well worth the visit! A breath of fresh air. TJ
