Very friendly local pub with great beer and resonably priced too.

Great pub lovely people and great pint of Guinness!

One of the very final examples of a "locals" pub in the Shoreditch area it would seem. A lovely pint of Stella with some very genuine and enjoyable company.

Locals Pub, Friendly enough. Juke Box. Pool Table and dart board not a bad pint of fosters when I was in

We were on a tour of the area and this was our first point of call. Excellent pint of London Pride, which was the only ale on. It was quiet as it was early but we were welcomed and chatted to by the Landlord/Staff. It obviously is a sports venue as there were at least four TVs all on Sky Sports News (muted). Got the impression it was pretty traditional and not at all gentrified.

Now has real Ale back in cant remember which one though as i dont drink it

This is an ordinary backstreet boozer. Theres a dartboard, a pool table, a one-armed bandit, a games machine, a TV showing the news, a carpeted floor, some standard issue tables and chairs, as well as a couple of potted plants. All OK so far, and just the sort of pub I like. There were two handpumps on the bar and, like when Strongers visited in September, both were unused. This could be a great little pub if only they a decent ale (or two).

There are two hand pumps in this locals boozer, but they were both unused during my visit leaving just a standard draught selection. There is a pool table and a dartboard as well as a plasma screen for showing Sky Sports.
The barman was nice enough, but a woman who seemed to be the landlady was quite miserable and I didnt feel at all welcome so I wont be returning.

Older style pub, OK for a few quiet pints with harmless regulars. Not one for an exciting Friday night out.

An old-fashioned pub, selling Flowers IPA on draught (which I haven't had for years, perhaps decades). Cheap and cheerful!
