I visited with friends last night. One of my friends ordered a Pizza which was never received. When this was raised with staff after waiting over 45 minutes the response was that it had been given out (obviously to the wrong person) and that a replacement pizza would be provided. After another wait of 45 minutes the pizza finally arrived, but only after staff were reminded again. This whole delay made us all late for an event we were working at that evening. When we complained about this poor service we were accused of having had the original pizza and made to feel like liars who had tried to get a free pizza. I would add that the pizza when it arrived was a rip-off, a pathetic effort with hardly any toppings, for which they were charging £1 per topping. We will not be returning to eat here again.

Its the anniversary of the when they signed their 1st deal. They always promised one of the guys at the label they would play there as its his favourite boozer. Apparently this year it happens.

Cracking pub with good ale and friendly staff & locals. I remember the cricket boys. The large one had terrible wind.

The Arctic Monkeys at the Cremorne might sound a bit far fetched, but they do have strong links with the place so might not be too far wide of the month. How come the 30th July..?
|
My mate works for a record company and he told me the Artic Monkeys are going to do a pub set in the Cremorne on the 30th of July next year.
Keep it to yourself though!!

Great pub although my last visit was ruined by 4 drunk guys who had been at the cricket all day. 2 were fat 1 was extremely rude and the little one tried to Sh*g my sister. Then the one they called the Fat controller developed a terrible wind problem and the landlord some sort of cage fighter sent him outside??
Great pub though the sort of place you could lose your wife your life or 4-5 hours of memory.
Highly recommend it!!

Just thought I'd drop a line highlighting the delights of the Cremorne, especially the delightfull pint that is Pale Rider.
Ofcourse the Cremorne is more that just your average pub, it has history and history that Sheffield should be proud of.... If you feel you can add more to this little teaser, then respond and lets see if we can't get the Cremorne up there to super boozer status.
Woody, The Controller and Kiwi should be able to add a little more here - what say you boys..?

Good bet in this area. Could be better and really make a name for itself. But what do I know?!

Great pub, friendly barstaff, lots of live music on and good tunes when there isnt. good atmosphere. The best pub in Sharrow/Ecceshall area in my opinion. Would give it 10 but ale is not kept in top condition (still good though) and toilets could be Saddams hidden biological weapons factory, they are truly minging!

Decent pub, occasionally puts on live music, and has reasonable beer. Friendly atmosphere. Often pop in on my way home from work, when it is always very quiet, but probably the best place on this stretch of London Road.

This is a great pub, good real ales combined with an area outside where they have had a big screen for the recent world cup, more of a yard than a garden though. Pool table and dart board, what more could you need in a pub. Plus some really great barstaff.
