Really excellent pub restaurant & accommodation. Stayed for 2 nights and ate there. Food is excellent, high quality ingredients and all cooked to order, 3 ales all kept well (Growler, Adnams and Woodfordes Bittern). Staff are friendly but never pushy. Accommodation is spacious, well-equipped and spotless.

Still maintaining a high standard of food and drink, this friendly country pub has had rooms added in a refurbished annex and is apparently regularly full of residents looking for a country break. More a restaurant than a drinking place, it nevertheless retains a good degree of a pub atmosphere and the Adnams is well kept.

Great little pub with with great menu. Just won an award for its restaurant. Houses its own smokery. Sunday brunch to be recommended. Good treasure of a find this place.

Restuarant with a bar, which is a shame as the character and furnishings are that of a good local. Beer isn't bad with one GK beer and house beer brewed by Mauldons. Food is ok, but is a little nouveau and disappointing. For example, steak and Kidney pud hasd virtually no meat

Mauldens bitter was very nice but the place seems to lack an atmosphere. Staff seem disinterested. Dissapointing

Lovley little Pub with a fantastic local real ale and nice food. Views in the back garden are the best. I belive they are closing mid july 06 for a referb. can't wait to see what they do as it's got loads of charm but some of the furinture is a little tired.
