Grimy and absolutely tiny, it still has a certain charm. The Angel plays better music (in my opinion) but Foremans still has carved its own niche pretty well.

This place is terrible but i still love going in. it is dirty, expensive, lousy beer, the toilets should be napalmed and the staff fumigated but it still has something that draws me in and i'm not even a big fan of punk.

This alleges to be a punk rock pub. It isn't. It plays punk rock music, but that's it.
Seemingly only surviving by not being trendy or a chain like all of its neighbours, it still has absolutely nothing going for it. Both staff and regulars try to intimidate any outsiders, it's surprisingly expensive, has a rubbish range of drinks and attracts people who think they're 'punk as f**k', but are actually skinhead hooligans.
If you want decent punk/rock music and an unpretentious atmosphere, go to the Old Angel. This place stinks.

marvellous - in wonderful contrast to the remainder of foreman street (and what a s*****le the remainder of foreman street continues to be)
|
Last went in here after seeing 'This Is England' at the Showcase, was like it was still 1982. Long may it continue to intimidate the anodyne masses.

Superb bar - I'm lovin it .

Great, unpretentious oasis in a sea of chain rubbish.

Known as 'Mos Eisley' - a hive of scum and villainy. Give it a miss!

it's punk as f**k! if you go in there hoping to have a taster of of cask ale then don't bother. if you wnat a tiny pub with massive character then do bother.
|
Absolute ramel. No decent beer & stuck in 1976 (... probably during the middle of a bin man strike)

Undeniably unique little pub. Plays exclusively punk music and has an unusal look. However, it is very expensive and doesnt serve any decent beer. Shame

Breath of fresh air. If you don't like punk rock, don't go there, otherwise, Foremans is an oasis in the commercial jungle of reproduced bars. Plenty of character, bar staff have great 'assets' (male and female), can't go too far wrong in here.

Oh dear....stuck in the seventies. A bit like the Blue Oyster Bar in Police Academy but worse.

A breath of stale air, in a good way. A great alternative to the endless chain bars all providing the same Sh1te. Beware the shots menu!

Good little regulars bar in the city centre. Can get very loud and busy at weekends and the toilets aren't the best, but they do give you a pen and encourage you to write on the toilet walls so can't be bad! Beer isn't always the best, but Tink the Bar Manager makes up for it with his humour!

This is the best bar in Nottingham if not the U.K. Barman is a punk rocker and the place is top drawer. Home of KINGS
