Set up for eating now. Brighter lights new tables with menus everywhere. Still has the problem of overcrowding, where ever you try to go, you still bump into chairs. Has lost its character and now doubt any of the Lifeboat lads would use it. Quite full at about 8:30 but rapidly emptying at 9:00 when the diners finished. Had Bass and Jail Ale on,with a selection of euro fizz. Bass was O.K. but nothing special. The Mrs. Chardonay was not the best. Signs up promoting various music nights. However I was rather disappointed.

Glad to say was closed only while a new landlord took over.

A small sign in the window saying "This pub is now closed" Maybe Heavitree have eyes on "redeveloping" the site in line with rest of the awful Marina.

Not too bad a place really. We popped in for a pint on a sunny sunday afternoon and sat on the benches outside. Pint of blackthorn was nice. Prices cheaper than the nearby Grove up the road. 7/10

early evening plenty places to sit down. in this large room had a otter ale which was a good drink but would go else in exmouth next time

Large, open plan pub. Beer on offer yesterday was Bass, Tribute, Pheasant Plucker and Otter Ales at 2.90 or 3 a pint. Very drinkable but expensive compared to the other places we visited.

A square, detached corner pub with a cream and black exterior and beer patio to the side overlooking the marina.
The interior is open plan, with the bar up one end. There was pine furniture and white walls, with lots of RNLI memorabilia, pictures and models. There is a dartboard. The place was quiet, but friendly.
Beer; usual tap stuff, with Otter Ale and Bass - the ale was fine.
A nice place that i would be happy to return to

First visit for years. It has since been knocked into one room. Good crowd for an early evening pint. The Bass was pleasent and noted they also offered Otter. Still a good old fashioned local, despite having "leggo land" built outside.

Good, friendly, traditional locals pub - the kind which is unfortunately disappearing from our towns at an all too quick rate.
Only criticism is that the real ales are consistantly far too warm - perhaps the cellar cooling doesn't work as the lager, chilled in a different way, is fine.
Great atmosphere and wonderful sunday lunch.

Situated by the newly built "Exmouth Marina" complex or in other words the old harbour area covered in second home's for the wealthy! A nice traditional pub that still attracts the locals week after week. Usually a couple of ales on tap including Otter. Benches available outside for the summer months. My Rating 7/10
