Stayed here for two happy nights recently. Excellent ales, delicious food (and 7 quid a main before 7pm!!). Freindly welcome and the garden would have been ideal for evening were it not for the rain!

Friendly and welcoming characterful inn offering good quality dining in a relaxed atmosphere. A whole shelf of interesting gins and some excellent ale from Grantham Brewery (although the other beers from Milestone were not at all to my taste). Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Though made 7 years ago, Zim's review is still accurate. The food quality is very good and, although not cheap, is worth the price and deserves its listing in the Michelin Eating Out In Pubs Guide. The restaurant service was also good, despite the place being extremely busy after a wedding anniversary the last time I was there. Beer quality is also good, and the bar a good place for a snack and a chat.

Pleasant pub with nice garden. Decent beer and good food. Pricey, though.

A charming pub with a fine range of ales & wines plus a delicious menu. A wonderful area although more of an adults location, perhaps an off day but the children were, sadly, frowned upon. If you are sans kids, this is the place for you!

An upmarket, but very friendly and unpretentious pub in a delightful Lincolnshire village, nestling half a mile or so below the impresive turrets and ramparts of Belvoir Castle. The food here is seriously good, an interesting and varied menu that seems to have a good selection of inovative daily specials. Lovely log fires in the winter, the one in the main bar is presided over by a magnificent stuffed wild boars head! There are lots of beams and plenty of character in this delightful and atmospheric old building. A really good pub with good food and beer, give it a go if you are in the area, I don't think you will be dissappointed.
