| Friendly and welcoming characterful inn offering good quality dining in a relaxed atmosphere. A whole shelf of interesting gins and some excellent ale from Grantham Brewery (although the other beers from Milestone were not at all to my taste). | Though made 7 years ago, Zim's review is still accurate. The food quality is very good and, although not cheap, is worth the price and deserves its listing in the Michelin Eating Out In Pubs Guide. The restaurant service was also good, despite the place being extremely busy after a wedding anniversary the last time I was there. | A charming pub with a fine range of ales & wines plus a delicious menu. A wonderful area although more of an adults location, perhaps an off day but the children were, sadly, frowned upon. If you are sans kids, this is the place for you! blacksheepale - 7 Oct 2008 09:48 |
