Hadn't been for two years - always had a bit of a dodgy reputation. What a transformation. A great family pub. Good, wholesome food, lovely staff, great beer. Lovely atmosphere. I'm a regular now

Very good place to visit. Since the management has changed (end of 2006) there have been lots of improvements made ... GOOD FRESH Food ... Great Service ... a wide range of products to chose from ... Try one of the specials ... they are SUPERB .... RATING 10 from me ...

Pub situated not a million miles from Hamworthy park and a couple of slipways for boaters so you get a strange mix of families and wannabe sea-capiins! Generally the food is ok, nothing to shout about and the beer is badger so again nothing to shout about. However, its a nice enough convieniant pub which houses a few clubs gatherings (like the hamworthy dive club) and has the odd event like a fireworks night. I would say .... average

Oh Yachty, what memories. Having spent the summer working at Rockley Watersports, I've got to know your charms well. Your excelleant selection of beers (mmm, Badger, nuff said, and Hoffbrau lager, nice) at decnet prices (mmm, pitchers). Plus nice atmosphere, nice food and big beer garden.

Popular pub, particularly in the summer as the food is good and there is a massive beer garden. Pity about the Hall and Woodhouse beer.
