Lovely pub with great homemade food. It's traditional pub food at really good value. When we went last week, the little garden looked lovely- a perfect place to sit and have a drink.
We had the ribs and a steak- both cooked perfectly and very generous portions. Would definitely recommend.

Nipped in here at lunchtime yesterday, comfy town local, Arkells Wiltshire Gold on tap was very good, girl behind the bar friendly and chatty, nice seating area to the side, a bit of a suntrap.

THE BEER IT'S THE BEST IN FAIRFORD.
THE FOOD IS GREAT . I GO EVERY THURSDAY FOR STEAK NIGHT, 2 STEAKS FOR �10. SUNDAY LUNCH IS GREAT VALUE.
THE STAFF LOVELY AND FRIENDLY.
THE PUB IS CLEAN AND TIDY WITH A GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND A NICE LOG FIRE.
ROB AND JEM HAVE ONLY BEEN THERE 7 MONTHS AND HAVE WORK VERY HARD IN MAKING THE PLOUGH SUCH A GREAT PLACE TO GO, LUNCHTIME OR IN THE EVENING.
WHAT MORE COULD FAIRFORD ASK FOR.

Great pub. Good beer and friendly staff. Customers all seemed good too. CAn't give ten as never had food there. Best pub in town - certainly.

Certainly wasn't full of idiots - we visited at lunchtime and it was quiet. Food was good value and the beer OK. Friendly landlord.

used to be a nice place. now its full of idiots,the barman was arrogant, put too much lime in my drink and my husbands pint was flat as a pancake. we won't be returning!
