Located almost underneath an auction house this underground bar was full to bursting point, standing room only.
The small bar area had a good range of lagers and ales with 3 pumps offering scottish ales.
I spent half an hour here and the pub just got busier and busier.
Excellent little pub with a real nice buzz to it.

Cellar bar so called as it is under an auction house. Plenty of ales all in good nick. Was busy and quite lively and understanably so. A definite if you like your ales.

A rather strange location in a cellar bar, but quite a pleasant candlelit experience. There were 3 real ales - Hardy & Hanson's Olde Trip, Deuchars IPA and Ossians, but the wine seemed to be more popular.

Good service with a smile, good ale, will be back in May. NUFF SAID

Smartest pub I found in Aberdeen - almost a wine bar (similar to some of Nottingham's newest real ale bars). Good Ossian, though a bit quiet for me.

Interesting place. One room, fairly small. Potentially quite romantic (?!) due to candles and small tables (don't worry though, still a few lonesome souls at the bar). Good on the ale front with a few Isle of Skyes on. Fairly quiet during the week but buzzing at weekends. Certainly a must-visit on the Aberdeen circuit

Nice place. Warm and cosy. My only criticism is it is full of Oil men.

Friendly welcoming pub with excellent real ale and an unusual atmosphere - traditional Scottish boozer meets the Parisian Rive Gauche. Well worth a visit.
