Located almost underneath an auction house this underground bar was full to bursting point, standing room only. The small bar area had a good range of lagers and ales with 3 pumps offering scottish ales. I spent half an hour here and the pub just got busier and busier. Excellent little pub with a real nice buzz to it. lezford - 28 Jan 2013 13:44 |
Cellar bar so called as it is under an auction house. Plenty of ales all in good nick. Was busy and quite lively and understanably so. A definite if you like your ales. anonymous - 31 Oct 2012 21:23 |
A rather strange location in a cellar bar, but quite a pleasant candlelit experience. There were 3 real ales - Hardy & Hanson's Olde Trip, Deuchars IPA and Ossians, but the wine seemed to be more popular. blue_scrumpy - 20 Mar 2009 18:25 |
Good service with a smile, good ale, will be back in May. NUFF SAID chiefknut - 14 Jan 2009 16:14 |
Smartest pub I found in Aberdeen - almost a wine bar (similar to some of Nottingham's newest real ale bars). Good Ossian, though a bit quiet for me. mtaylor40 - 12 Mar 2008 21:21 |
