An excellent, friendly pub with well kept cask ales. Well worth a visit.

Nice 300 year old pub with a nice large bar and a beer garden.
Good local guest ales and food reasonably priced.
Would recommend.

Remains the best pub in Knutsford (though it doesn't have a great deal of competition). Has a nice pint of Tatton ale on this visit.

A proper higgledy-piggledy layout of bar and snug and raised back room. numeorus ales on ( I tried the Cambirnus-Aspinall's offerings, Yardstick and Delvierance). Probably the best pub in Knutsford.

The kitchen in this establishment has now reopened, with a fabulous new menu. Opening days at the moment are thursday till sunday, 12 till 6. Daily specials available, and nothing on the main menu over a fiver. All homecooked food. Great place to visit, fine selection of cask ales, real log fire, a great place to visit.

Cosy pub, real fires were very welcoming in the current weather, Black Sheep on good form on my visit yesterday, friendly staff and locals.

Nice, friendly pub.Stans local before moving over with me. Lovely guys behind the bar. Mixed age group, always welcoming. Bit smoky and don't do food anymore which is a shame.

Great pub.A vareity of differnt ales and a few exoctic bottled beer! Wondefully freindly staff and I would highly recommend this pub.

Oldie, worldie type of pub, very friendly, great bar staff, allways time for a chat with the customers. Had a couple of snacks in there which were nice. A very smoky pub though needs some ventilation. Clare can sometimes be maungy and immature!!!

brillaint pub never empty with various sorts of regulars coming in from opening to closing
everyone is very friendly and the staff are brilliant
as for the food its a seperate concern but Pams food is the best pub food in Knutsford
