This place is now called the Owl's Nest and is now some kind of café. Certainly not a pub anymore.

Probably the worst pub in andover now. The real ales are just shocking. They only sell cans of fosters and strongbow purchased from asda across the road. Whilst I was there the landlord passed an ashtray to a customer and told him he did not need to go outside! There was a cat on top of the bar grooming itself. That couple should never be allocated to run a pub. Shocking. Will never walk in that place again.

Strange place. Could be so much better, not sure if the 'gay couple' are still there or not. I was served by a very nice barnaid (no complaints there!!). The only had 6X on hand pump, no one was drinking it, so as I don't know the place had a pint of lager!!!

A good town boozer with split personality - lounge bar is a superb throwback to old world country pub & is a perfect antidote to most of Andover's main street offering. The public bar is pub-sport oriented (not a bad thing) & a bit soleless. The beer is well kept & landlord seems very friendly.

Not been into The Lamb in years then a couple of recent visits. It is a small pub and tucked away from the rest of the high street of NAdover, however it does serve a range of decent ales often changing. Can be a bit quiet but put some music on the well stacked jukebox and rack a game or two of pool or throw some darts then it's a great little place to go. One of the better pubs in town now I reckon.

Very quiet pub even on a Friday night. The few people who are there, speak in hushed tones; which is weird! You walk through two public bars to get to the 'lounge' (more like a saloon). Good range of 3 regular cask ales plus a guest. Listed in GBG2007 but the entry is wrong: it claims evening food but there isn't any. Oh - and it doesn't open until 6pm!

Pint of Wicked Witch was good. Bit cliquey, preferred the small bar at the back, too many chav types in the main bar. Nice open fire and old world feel, the locals were stereotypical.

went there the other night, it was really quiet, only 5 people in there. but it was clean and friendly.

Used to be a very friendly pub had many good times, until new management came in after leonie passed. Very clicky since. The landlady would give peggy mitchell a run for her money. But fall out with another local and not be there to defend yourself then it becomes a whole new kettle of fish. Steer clear if you wish to retain your dignity and sanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Should be in the middle of a village somewhere then it could be as bitchy as it likes!!!!!!!! BURN IT TO THE GROUND!!!!

Only pub worth visiting in Andover, ring the bell, and put Black Betty (down the Lamb) on the jukebox :)

Awesome

Old bar is as someone said like someones front room. New modern extension is cool, nice pool table and good for a few games of pool in the afternoon

For me The Lamb is the best pub in Andover. The small old bar is like someone's living room - very cosy and intimate. There are two other bars, the largest of the two is a modern extension, a complete contrast to the older bar - which I prefer. The beer is immaculate, mainly from the Wadworth range, and food is superb. They serve Thai food there as well as trad food. Sadly the landlady, Leonie Rickard, died a short while ago. Leonie was Andover's longest serving licensee and a stalwart of the LVA. I hope Wadworth's 'do the right thing' when deciding on the future of The Lamb.
