Seems to have changed as I've been in here a couple of times over the last two tears and the barstaff always seem very friendly and the customers were happy enough sipping their pints and watching the world go by.I must say it was very quiet for a Friday night but perhaps previous comments have given the pub a reputation. Give it a try,I did and had a pleasant time.

This pub is an absolute dump! What sort of landlord and landlady goes around punching one of the regular customers that spends a fortune in there and then watches him get beat up by the others in the pub. DISGUSTING - SHUT THE PLACE DOWN! Full of idiots and a blonde make-up factory bimbo!

Yes, it does have 1 hand pump that when I went in there sold pretty miserable London Pride. Far better pubs to go to in town!

It DOES sell Real Ale... other than that, the other comments are pretty fair.

This pub is such a lovely old building from the outside. Unfortunately it is such a let down once you get inside. As I was waiting for my pint of Carlsberg to be poured (they don't sell any real ale), I noticed the sign to staff on the blackboard behind the open door to the private quarters ''We have never known the pub to be so dirty, when it's quiet CLEAN''. Admirable sentiments from the boss I thought, but not what I want to see as a customer. The best thing you can say about this pub is that it's handy for the chinese takeaway across the road.

Someone had food here?? Brave!

Walked in. Surveyed the row of lager fonts (no handpumps). Walked along to the other end of the bar. Another lager thing. Walked out of the other door.

A dive of a place. Terrible food - cooked straight from frozen, clearly. The only good thing about this pub is the exit.

Cheap and chavful......
