Well popped in again, still great food and drink ' beer is very well kept'. I turned up for there Champagn Breakfast, they only do this at bank holiday time and it was marvellous, and a great start to the day, very well worth a visit.

Since I last wrote I have used this pub fequently with joy, it is one of the best, what they do, works, simple as that.
Staff and service is welcoming and freindly, nothing is to much trouble. They really have tried to integrate into the village life, with the Quiz night (Tuesday) and even early morning, Champagne Breakfasts at Bank holidays. All in all, Its an honest place to visit.

Called in again last night on the off chance, and it was Fish Friday - 6 different Fish meals on main menu and specials board.
Place! was full, and they keep cooking as long as there were people to be served, none of this stopping at 9pm lark, like others....... The Prawn Sizzler is magic on a plate.......
Once you have been and eaten, you get a 20% off your next meal on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thurday, better try this quickly, it won't last the way people are coming through the doors......... These people are really trying to be different.......

New people 'Zak & Jenny' arrived about a month ago, settling in and get to grips with the place, good menu at very good prices. More like a pub now, great atmosphere when I was there, a must visit pub with food........ Try the Mussel large or small there wonderful..............

Fantastic roast dinner, and nice atmosphere. it seems that the new people are making a real effort - quiz night, cribb night, darts team. and a good pint of brakespears! always a bonus

Changed hands in August, popped in for a snack just after but not able to supply card machine. Very quite.

The refurb has made a great difference, especially as it is totally non smoking now. The pub is always clean and welcoming and the food is just as good as ever, the new menu is well worth working through. Fish and Fizz on a Wednesday night is highly recommended.

Place has just opened after a major referbishment, new kitchen, bar, cellar, toilets. This has made a great place fantastic, and best of all totally No Smoking.

Excellent Sunday roasts, very friendly hosts, pub always very clean and well kept.
