New landlord in the Rising Sun. The pub has instantly improved, much more comfortable and WARM Hooray. Beers in Excellent condition, and there happened to be a bunch of blues guitarists playing when i dropped by on a wednesday evening - bonus..If you want a real village pub this one shouldnt be missed.

The Chequers Inn, Berrick Salome

Fantastic roast dinner, and nice atmosphere. it seems that the new people are making a real effort - quiz night, cribb night, darts team. and a good pint of brakespears! always a bonus
