we went in for a meal , drawn in by the board out side advertising food to find that they werent serving any , my partner and i did stay though did not finish our drinks the staff seemed to be openly discussing other customers in a manner that made us very uncomfortable. All in all an unpleasnt experience.

A happening pub with two ales available - Ringwood Fortyniner which was excellent and SN Spitfire. Takes the gold medal for the shortest served pints I have ever seen. One old boy was given a glass with a one third head on it and did not complain. We asked for a top up and still got them back half an inch short. This may be accepted practice up north but I expect better in Sandhurst.

Lots of scaffolding outside but it's definitely open. A nicely furbished pub with comfy chairs, only one real ale on, Bombardier, well kept.

The only pub that has really made me feel welcome. The Land Lady and bar staff are exellent. The people who drink there are friendly and chatty and there is no atmosphere when a 'stranger' walks in. I have visited regularly - never had a bad pint and it's always clean. I can't comment on the food - but it looks well-priced with a good Sunday Roast Special!

We go occasionally and find the pub friendly and welcoming. Good beer (Brakspears) and food looks appetising although not tried yet. Recently opened pool room nice addition for the summer.

This pub i found to be very much a girlie pub, bit like a wine bar also. Not a bad atmosphere but not my cup of tea. The landlady also has strong views on what type of person she likes to use her pub.

Very trim, modern interior (floorboards, some high tables, red walls if I remember - that sort of thing) and middle-class compared with the Rose and Crown. Pleasant seating cosily arranged. Decent, cool ale.

Been here a few times now and I must say I don't think I have been to a pub like it before. Unlike some pubs in the local area after my first drink I felt as though i was in my house the locals where VERY friendly and though everyone seemed to know each other i soon felt very welcome.

Reasonable pub but the landlady writes her own reviews, you have been warned!

We just moved in to Sandhurst and have visited the Village Inn several times. Good beer, friendly service and tasty food. The bar is well furnished and the locals make it a welcoming and cosy place.

Sandhurst seems to be having a tiny, pub revival. Rose & Crown is good, honest, real ale fun, the Wellie had a good atmos in it on Monday lunchtime and the New, sorry, Village Inn is trying hard to be something halfway decent.
Upset the local old gits but they can go elsewhere...

Probably not intentional but the lack of people and small space gives you the sense you're being watched so a bit uncomfortable. Slightly odd snacks at the bar, but probably very edible. Have London Pride on tap, otherwise it's more or less the usual kind of beer. Seems to be passionate about England

A pub which is very local to the station. Watch out for the England flags outside, there appear to be lots of them! As its near World Cup season of course. This pub seems a good place to start off a crawl with London Pride being the obvious choice of ale

I visited this pub for the first time last week as I heard it had been done up and was worth a visit. I wasn't disappointed! Its quite contemporary but very cosy and definitely female friendly - I felt quite comfortable waiting on my own to meet my friend. Theres a good selection of bar meals and all the staff were very friendly. I also hear they do a great Sunday Roast often followed by live music. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend a visit.
