Seems to have been done up and lost it’s traditional appearance but it’s still a great place and has lovely views of the water Friendly and patient bar staff who had to pour endless supplies of baby Guinness to the scooterists staying nearby

Have visited this pub twice now. The last visit was on Thursday quiz night, which was entertaining. Beer has been good on both visit's. St Austell Proper Job and Otter. Both £3.60.

The Ship is a long, narrow, traditional pub, always very busy. Five handpumps serving Proper Job, Yellowhammer and Tribute, among others. My pints of Proper Job were excellent. The outside seating area offers beautiful views across the Teign estuary. The best pub in Teignmouth by some distance.

A great pub ruined by rip off prices and the idiots it attracts. I think i just summed it up.

We returned to the Ship after visiting back in the summer, well you would not have thought it was the same place. Called in early evening to find hardly anyone here unlike what it was like in the summer, seems due to the high beer prices the locals dont go any more.

Good location on the beach. Decent pint of Otter Ale.

Busiest pub in the town but the locals all crowd around a very small table and talk at the top of there voices. Moaning about everything and anything. We had to move to the other end of the bar because of it. We got talking to some other loacls in the pub and they told us it used to be busier but that table of Loud landlord freinds has put an end to it. They recommende The Blue Anchor. Shame because the Otter ale was the best pint we had in the town so far. Nice looking pub, just intimidating locals.

Visited last Friday, whilst on a whistlestop visit to Teignmouth. A very nice pub, with a perfect location. Hope to pop back to try the food some time soon...

Good food, great service and fair beer selection. The atmos was good and the view over the river and the boats is perfect for watching the world go by. A perfect mix. Well done.

The best place to watch the sun go down. Stunning views, good food, fair beer.

I asked a Teignmouthian where's the best pub and was directed to The Ship Inn. She was right.
Friendly staff and landlord, intersting mix of locals and the tourists. For cider drinkers the Stonehouse is a must.

Was in here a few weeks ago - as a tourist - and thought it was great. Good beer and good food. Place was heaving.

Must be one of the best pub locations in Devon. Great outside if weather OK. Kids can play on beach or going crabbing whilst you enjoy excellent pint of Otter Ale. As a local it can be a bit of a tourist trap, but as Teignmouth has yet to "be discovered" it still is a real treat!
