The Blue Peter, Polperro

Real character and great staff. Probably the best little pub in Cornwall.
Every time we stay in the area we look forward to dropping in for a friendly drink. The beer is good the location is perfect nestled into the rocks and next the the harbour.
The food has always been great, Loving the flannel hash and sunday roasts.
It can get packed, with trippers quickly filling the small bar and upstairs food area.
Its dog friendly and in the winter has a lovely roaring fire to dry beside.

Bell Inn, Moreton in Marsh

In a word its Tired looking.
Lacking atmos, the staff are all miserable with long faces and not even a thank you as you leave. (and that when the pub is empty). The decor is in desperate need of updating or at least painting. The seats look tired and grubby. Beer selection can be good with Local and Cornish ale on tap along with a couple of Ciders.
The outside court yard area and rear garden seating are failing apart. which i suppose matches the pub itself.
To sum up, It needs to keep traditional but have a more friendly/warm welcome.

The Ship Inn, Teignmouth

Good food, great service and fair beer selection. The atmos was good and the view over the river and the boats is perfect for watching the world go by. A perfect mix. Well done.
