Browarmia Krolewska, Warsawback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
First pub i visited after i arrived in Warsaw, spacious and rather dark interior with plenty of seating, especially for diners. Sampled three of the brews on offer; stout, honey and wheat beers. The honey beer was excellent, stout good and the wheat beer rather average.
The Mallard makes a fair point regarding prices, 12zl in Warsaw is quite expensive, a suburban bar would only charge half that price for beer. Warsaw is a city that disappoints and the bar scene is a very mixed experience indeed!

Crikey I'd heard from a friend who posts on another site this place had deteriorated quite a lot, and didn't want to believe him, seems like he was right. Shame as this was possibly Warsaw's first brewpub, and that alone could have been a commercial advantage for them.

Can't say I was overly impressed. In a nice location and we watched a legalise cannabis march pass as we sat in the small area out the front. The service wasn't anything special - the usual, slow and like it is a privilege for them to serve you kind of service still prevalent in many parts of Eastern Europe coupled with a 20 minute wait if we wanted PIls while they changed the barrel The Pils was no better than the standard brews offered in other bars(had a much nicer pint of Warka in the next bar), the red ale was a bit keg bitter like and the stout wasn't up to a lot - in fact our Polish freind found it undrinkable. Add to the fact it charges 12 Z for a beer other places charge 8 for and it comes out an all round disappointment.

Great bar with great beers brewed on the premises. The beer is a bit more expensive than in most oter bars, 12 Zloty for 0.4 Ltr but worth it. Service was good even though it was busy, we were sat at the bar though.

Great Pub, and on a par with the Bierhalle in terms of beer. Loved the Pils and wheat beers, didn't try the ginger as I don't like them, the stout was nice, but was served warm, and that's warm by English real ale standards! Inside was a restaurant area, so we sat in the enclosed terrace, a great place to watch the World and students go by. Service was a bit slow, but not unacceptably so, and the staff were very friendly. A pleasant way to pass an afternoon.

Nice microbrewery - The beers are all top notch.
Just a shame that the staff made us sit outside. Do you want to be a microbrewery or a restaurant ffs?!

Established in July 2005, this excellent brewpub is expected to go from strength to strength. Havnig been told on departure for Warsaw that all the city's brew pubs were closed, I was supprised to stumble on this one during a bus ride to the Old Town.
Occupying a large and spacious ground floor and basement, the pub is designed to maximise space and lighting and decor combine the modern with the traditional. The brew coppers are visible from the basement drinking area.
Browarmia produces four beer, as follows: -
PSZENCICZNE (wheat beer) A flavoursome, balanced wheatbeer with hints of ginger and a lemon aroma/aftertaste. Quite a lively beer with a zingy, textured mouthfeel.
PILS A German styled pilsner lager with a distinct citric flavour and a cloudy appearance. Slightly less gaseous than most other pilsners I have tried.
CZERWONE IMBIROWE (BROWN ALE) A clear, brown to amber ale, with malt and sweetness the main flavours here. A hint of licquorice and aniseed. Although these flavours are not to my personal taste, I appreciated on drinking that this is a well-crafted beer with all the flavour and textures intentional, and I can see why others would enjoy it.
STOUT Take my advice, drinkers, and leave this one until last, allowing plenty of time to sup it. Bursting with dark chocolate (without beeing oversweet) and smoke flavours, with some burnt barley in there too.
With food served at all times the pub is open, it is a MUST for anyone who likes their beer visiting Warsaw.
