From the outside looks idyllic and very welcoming. Inside is modern and not so charming. Was initially pleased to see 3 Red Squirrel beers on offer, but my pint of Hopfest was in poor condition and cost a shocking 4 quid!!!!!!!Especially surprising as Red Squirrel sell all their regular beers for £2.50 in their own pubs. Several of the tables were reserved for diners so maybe the food's good - I won't be going back to find out. Most impressive feature was the landlady's enormous knockers.

More of a restaurant than a pub really but did a very nice pint of Red Squirrel Hop Fest. Staff seemed nice and they have the most space-age taps I've ever seen in the Gents.

Beer really kept well and a good selection. Food is good too. Some items are a bit expensive for what they are, but still very good. Not too sure about being charged extra if you are a party of 6 or more. Bit naughty that one.

much more like it - just what a gastropub should be

I have been using this pub for many years and can recommend it to anyone, good quality food, a varied menu, good staff and always a warm welcome. The beer is good as well.

I love this pub and i don't anyone that doesn't! Fantastic Food and The Staff are great too! Andy is the greatest, just a shame Lew and Sally have left! They have a beautiful decking area just by the conservatory, which is a lovely suntrap. Very pretty view on the Green. The Food you cannot fault and the beer and few real ales they have are perfectly kept, let alone the massive selection of spirts and wines on offer!!! Anyone else whose been here will understand what i'm talking about!??.. x x x
