Music based pub which gets busy when local bands are playing. Two ales on.

Re-opened about four months ago after a spell as a bistro and then closed for a while. Good to see it back to being a proper pub. Not much changed inside, but then its fine as it is anyway. A friendly landlord who at one time had Braggs (Queens Head) in Nailsea, hes working hard to get trade built up by encouraging use by community groups and getting bands in at the weekend. Beers were Doom Bar and Jem, plus Bulmers, Taunton Traditional and Thatchers Gold ciders.

Now called La Demi Lune or something and is a full on bistro without any seperate bar.....

Sitting right on the noisy Hotwells Road, but has a great atmosphere, good beers, and the best pub food in Bristol. Trying to pitch itself as a gastropub these days, and frankly it has paid off. Now it is always full, bookings are usually needed, and Jamie Cullum likes to drop by for a quick bevvie and tap of the ivory keys!
