King's Arms, Bristolback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Has reverted back to the King's Arms, sprawls over about 27 floors or something, I had one pint, at the kind of price which might have Man City's owners quizzically saying, "Er, just a half then, please..."
OK, if you like that kind of thing and enjoy paying for it.

Now re-opened under a different name. Actually it's back to it's original name (The King's Arms) so hopefully it will stick with that now. Very large bar on several levels. Thacher's Gold on draft. On a recent Tuesday visit they had some type of open mic night, although unfortunately nobody seemed to be laughing at the "comedian" that was on.

Large, smart and clean though somewhat lacking in atmosphere when we visited late afternoon time. I can imagine it filling up and getting more lively in the evenings, though. Very reasonable food.

Has changed its name AGAIN!!! It is the Black Bear now. Quite an interesting building and a decent enough bar.

I really liked this place when it was Babushka but since it changed its name to Stark it seems to have acquired a funny smell. The food's pretty good though, and they have a decent range of lagers and a patio area. Tends to get rammed on Friday and Saturday nights, but is good for the occasional breakfast or sunny afternoon drink.

Indeed, now called "Stark". It's a bar, not a pub, and I wouldn't go there for the beer... it's an amazing building though, almost worth visiting once so you can wander around. Nice place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

This is now called Startk Bar and is a bit trendy. They had a poker league running there on a Tuesday night for a while, but I haven't seen it running lately. The beer is good but a bit pricey, the cider is pretty rubbish. They show artsy films there sometimes too. If you're a bit pretentious, you'll really like it here.
