Although slightly off the beaten track, The Hampden Arms is well worth a visit. Dave and Michaela are great hosts and there's a welcoming atmosphere and some great local beers. The Hampden has live bands on a weekly basis and the friendly regulars make it a great place for a night out. I'd highly recommend a visit to The Hampden!

This pub is a very warm and welcoming local that welcomes strangers too . They have great bands on all the time and also hold quizzes for charity at least once a month . This pub really is the heart of the small community and im pleased to be saying that it will soon be my local .

An excellent typical village pub. Friendly staff and very well kept beers ... Harveys Best plus a guest usually. Good food, clean, comfortable and a large secluded beer garden at the back. Local bands most Fri's/Some Sat's. Greatly improved in the last year or two and always worth a visit if you are local ... and worth a trip if you aren't. There's a track leading onto the South Downs which joins on to the South Downs Way just down the road so an ideal place to relax after a good walk.

The hampden is a great community minded village pub, there's normally local live bands on a Friday and saturday night, with quiz nights midweek for charities, They have a small but delightful lunch menu and do a cracking Sunday roast, they often have guest Ales and Ciders and to top it off the pub garden backs onto the south downs national park.... All in all it's a lovely welcoming local pub and often we take visiting friends for a pint who always want to return, definately recommended !

Fab Friday nights with eclectic live music and the chance of super wibbly dancing. Plenty of room around sofas and pool table to chill away from the crowds. Lovely outdoor area for Mediterranean style evenings and Pimms-and-chips fueled afternoons.

New people running the pub now and it's great!. Friendly staff, well looked after ales (harveys and usually a guest ale), great music nights and still fun quizzes! Pool table is back and the dart board and jukebox make it and excellent village pub!

Used to be a pretty nice place, cosy and a good place if you're bored on a Thursday evening. Then it went all classy and they got rid of the jukebox and replaced the pool table with a chessboard and a fish tank. Not surprising that you only see the regulars in there. Quiz nights still a laugh and has the redeeming feature of still doing Harveys, so thats something I guess.

Hate the place. Certain people that go there should be banned from the planet but the rest are ok. Rather quiet. Smells, and alot of biching seems to happen here oh and boyfriend stealing. Im keeping well away from here.

This place is as shabby as an old dog, and smells similar. Apart from those two minor issues this place is one of my favorite pubs in the world. Mainly because I like taking the piss out of dan, the manager and the fact it has the friendlest bunch of regulars you'll ever be likely to meet.
