Although slightly off the beaten track, The Hampden Arms is well worth a visit. Dave and Michaela are great hosts and there's a welcoming atmosphere and some great local beers. The Hampden has live bands on a weekly basis and the friendly regulars make it a great place for a night out. I'd highly recommend a visit to The Hampden! Madpants - 5 Jun 2011 13:58 |

This pub is a very warm and welcoming local that welcomes strangers too . They have great bands on all the time and also hold quizzes for charity at least once a month . This pub really is the heart of the small community and im pleased to be saying that it will soon be my local . Robbo1981 - 14 May 2011 20:08 |
An excellent typical village pub. Friendly staff and very well kept beers ... Harveys Best plus a guest usually. Good food, clean, comfortable and a large secluded beer garden at the back. Local bands most Fri's/Some Sat's. Greatly improved in the last year or two and always worth a visit if you are local ... and worth a trip if you aren't. There's a track leading onto the South Downs which joins on to the South Downs Way just down the road so an ideal place to relax after a good walk. sdgxc01 - 14 May 2011 11:45 |
