This place was absolutely packed on Sunday 14th April 2019. Live music, not a table to spare and Sunday lunches a plenty from what looked a great carvery. Fantastic setting even in the driving wind and rain (maybe more so) as this day was. Sharps Doom bar, St.Austell Tribute and Proper Job. £9 for 2 pints though, but I guess that's the setting..

Very pleasant beach bar, with stunning views of Praa sands. It is split into two areas, a bar which has pool, air hockey, fruit machines and has a very family feel, and then a large restaurant with amazing views. Also has a patio with 8 or so tables outside. St.Austell Tribute, Sharps Doom bar (and Pilsner lager) and Healeys Rattler + Cornish Gold cider plus more continental lagers. Food was good, and we had a pleasant evening. Returned later in the week to Praa sands and caught some good surf, always nice on the South coast...

More of a bar than a pub as the name suggests and expensive beer at £3.90 a pint but when you're drinking chilled Betty Stoggs on the terrace in the sun, gazing out at the surf and watching the surfers it didn't seem a bad way to spend the afternoon!

Lovely laid back and relaxed sort of pub with good vibes, overlooking the sandy beach.

Now this is a good place for a fun night out. It is more of a young pesons pub especially in the summer

Great location, pity about the pub itself - suppose it's ok if you like going to youth clubs.

Couple of changes to report. No longer offers Sharps ales, but has replaced with St Austell Brewery. Two beers on offer, Tribute, and Sandhopper, which is unique to this pub. Also no longer does the nightclub think on Saturdays.

Pub on the beach at Praa Sands, Stunning beach & sea views. Raised patio area outside when the weather is OK. Generally has two Sharps ales on offer which vary from time to time, although Doom Bar, Sharps Own and Wills Resolve are regulars. Children & dog friendly (free doggie nibbles on the bar). Mixed clientel, including dog walkers, surfers, and holiday makers. Good food lunchtimes and evenings. Real fire. Occasional Sunday afternoon live music, and Saturday nights after ten it turns into a nightclub. Great pub for just sitting and watching the tide come in.
