nipped in for a drink whilst shopping at Marks & Spensers. its better than having an asda coffee shop. good beer, good wine and cheap price. nice smells from the food, will give this a sample soon

Very quiet for a Monday night. Always found meals to be good here. Adnams - Jolly Ale very nice and also had Brakspears - Bitter on draught.

After traipsing around Asda this was a treat. Typical Toby so the foods OK. Only saw keg so being hot and bothered I seetled for a lager. With Tobys menu change at 7pm I see a lot of customers ,who after being asked to wait while a few bowls of food are changed, prefer to leave. This is usually because the early cheaper menu customers have grabbed all the seats. I prefer the early price myself and consider the new menu overpriced when you consider the bulk buying power of theses people.

Fine for a cheap roast

One ale (GK IPA) with a really tight sparkler. Taken off without a fuss, but I could see why it was on as the beer that emerged was flat and past its best - sparklers do tend to disguise this visually.
Otherwise, it's a basically a big barn that does low-cost food.
Not worthwhile for a drink.

Visited it a couple of years ago and wasnt impressed. But service is now quite good. Probably only worth visiting for food. Very good prices

Simply corporate branding, not much different to being the Culpeper Mill.

Oh come on, you can't seriously consider a 'pub' with a name like this can you?
Food's great though, especially Sunday roast.

No better or worse than you'd except - clean, bright, large open plan bar where most people are only there for the food. The beer is Greene King IPA and I had no problems with quick half I had. At 2.40 a pint it's reasonably priced.

You've got to love a Toby, if only for the excellent feed! Besides that, this one's got generally friendly staff, and decent drinks at not bad prices.

It's plastic, it's a corporate mass production, it's the same across the country. except:- the food is excellent; the beer is well-kept; the service is good (mostly); and, most important, it's within walking distance of my gaff!
