Right, this pub is actually closed @ the moment, ive noticed there doing work on it as we speak. Now alot of poeple think its a dive due to like 10years ago when it was bit rough, but its ok now. People just going on the history. Its nice pub for sunday drink or getting warmed up on fri/sat before heading into London. Its my local and cant wait till it re-opens.

Ditto on the dump comment, not been in for a couple of years (it was a spit and sawdust type of place then) but I'm not going back especially when there is the excellent Moon and Cross just up the road.

I agree its a total dump, full of riff-raff, will not go again.

i think the pub is a really nice pub. staff really friendly. music good. cheap drink and 2 pool tables.

Bit of a dive, no real ales, no food . Two pool tables, big TV with cable or Sky.
