Go to the top 10 pubs by county, click on London, this pubs rated number 4. Its apparently been closed since 2008! Ridiculous.

Sadly "The Inn" has now closed. It was a nice friendly pub with the sinister (not really) cat and latterly a neurotic dog. Now it will probably have it's innards and soul ripped out and turned into a chrome and wood crap gastro pub. I'd just moved away before it closed and on a visit back saw a sign saying it was shut and anyone interested could mail to something like innfriends at yahoo.

Pub closed doors for final time 24th April 2008. Thank you to all our friends and customers. Good-bye, God bless & Farewell

Beer in the evening is a great site and has honest reviews. The Greenwich Inn is a friendly pub and most Sunday evenings does have live music (a kinda open mic session but really aimed at established musicians). Sometimes no musician guests turn up sometimes half a dozen or more. Some very well known people have turned up and joined in. As well as the usual lagers The Inn serves Super Chilled Coors this is the coldest beer available in the World (The Inn was featured on tomorrows World when the beer was launched as it is chilled at sub zero the beer is unique) and is only available at a limited number of outlets, London Pride is on tap. Not much happens on week-day afternoons and customers who visit in the period between lunchtime and the evening could well be underwhelmed. I have taken note of the previous reviews and in reply: the wine selection already has been improved (as promised) Sunday night music sessions are now amplified, I will try to ensure that; food is available evenings, the one eyed cat continues to prowl but is generally asleep. I will not respond to the review directly underneath this as it was written by a disgruntled customer who was told he was not welcome in the pub so he joined this site only to write malicious review. To all nice beer in the eveningers I hope to see you in The Inn soon.

Been living a couple of years in Greenwich and visited the vast majority of pubs in the area but had not heard of this one until it was recommended in one of the free London evening newspapers early this week. Stopped by for a drink & wasn't very impressed. Has a real 'locals' feel and the choice of draught lagers was the kind you get in a social club - Carling, Coors, Grolsch. Didn't feel particularly welcome, won't be going back.

Not a bad pub but not worth the amazing rating or 9.3 score when I visited on a Friday afternoon in June 2007. It was OK - anyone expecting anyhing more than that could be disapppointed

Read the reviews so come to try it it is a real friendly pub, good jazz type music (seems like the juke box plays it on its own) they tell me they are soon getting a better selection of wine (they only had a choice of red or white). Unbelievable FREE pool table. Lunchtime food very nice and fairly priced but only serve food in the evenings when they feel like it. BEAWARE there is strange black pub cat that sneaks up on you with only one eye in the middle of its head!

Just moved into a flat across the road. This is a real London pub with real bar staff and customers. Great atmosphere and the regulars talk to stangers who become regulars. The music on a Sunday was good but you can't really hear it as although the guy has a strong voice he doesn't use a mike or amplifier for the guitar so you have to sit at a table next to him (which is not good if you are shy because he asks you to sing a song). The juke box was not working when I went on a week-night but the background music was cool with lots unusual stuff.

Amazing pub, I liked the wierd very cold lager called Arc (they tell me they wer on tomorrows world as its so cold), on Sunday night there was a guy singing playing a 12 string (sounded quite good and other "guests (some good some not so good)" joining in, Theres a sign saying the pool table is free on Weekdays (although it was closed on Sunday night), people playing chess and I liked it
