The Elements Bar, Greenwich

Classy well designed bar with fantastic music on a Sunday lunchtime. Could not believe it! Absolutley brilliant however seems they want to keep the place a secret (never seen it advertised) A superb keyboard player with a guitarist and a Michael Bubl� style singer (I was told by an old boy at the bar that if I had known my jazz I would have know that the musicains were all famous) Ah well never mind but asta la vista.

The Greenwich Inn, Greenwich

Just moved into a flat across the road. This is a real London pub with real bar staff and customers. Great atmosphere and the regulars talk to stangers who become regulars. The music on a Sunday was good but you can't really hear it as although the guy has a strong voice he doesn't use a mike or amplifier for the guitar so you have to sit at a table next to him (which is not good if you are shy because he asks you to sing a song). The juke box was not working when I went on a week-night but the background music was cool with lots unusual stuff.
