Great pub, good real ales that are well kept, excellent food. good service and an attractive courtyard garden, ticks all the boxes.

Popped in on various occasions, the last one being St. Patrick's night. Great atmosphere, Traditional food on sale, GREAT beer...Sharp's Own !! plus the usual range including a great pint of Bombadier. To add to that they had live music covering a range of songs with some traditional Irish Ballards for the occasion, not often you hear a sing a long these days !. Will be back, lovely Village all round.

Looking at the previous reviews I wonder if this is the same pub!? Visited last night at around 6.30pm and I have to say that the place was a bit like the Moon - it lacked atmosphere! A couple sitting quietly in the corner, a bloke sitting quietly at the bar, a blonde woman talking on her mobile at the bar and a meek looking barmaid. All this and Vera Lynn warbling in the background from the CD player. Place looks very clean and clinical but it did have a nice selection of beer. I do object to premises that charge you for using a Visa Debit card if under a certain amount. In this place (in a village with no cash machines) they charge an extra 50p for cards under a value of 20!! In this day and age where a lot of people don't carry cash then I find this a bit of a profiteering piss take. We drank up as quickly as we could and headed over the road to The Green Man(which was a great pub!)

Very imressed to find a great selection of real ale. My friends and i went through the lot! Timothy Taylors Landlord, Breakspear and Bombardier! Very quaint little pub. We found the staff to be very friendly and jolly. We now make this pub a regular monthly meeting place.

Fantastic little pub, excellent bar staff, every now and again theres live music, well worth a visist (best beer in the village)

My favourite pub in the village, and this stunning village is blessed with a handfull of gorgeous pubs.
Its small enough and intimate inside that you get decent personal service from the staff and more times than not a bit of friendly banter with the other customers. Always a nice atmosphere.
Also a suprsingly big area out back for the summer months.

Listed under Buckinghamshire ==> Denham in my 2006 CAMRA Good Beer Guide, this pub on Village Road, UB9 5BE had four real ales on tap. The wife and I tried two and they were perfect. We also shared a large mixed seafood starter platter and that was very nice. All staff extremely friendly as well. Great place to spend some time in a lovely little village.

Only stayed the one night here but first class accommodation, excellent, would definately recomend it

Went to the Falcon yesterday and had sandwiches in the garden (had not read the previous reviews) they were very good, came with a bit of salad and some chips. Don't know whether the management has changed or not, but it did not reflect the previous reviews in any way. The 3 real ales, Landlord, Bombardier and Brakespear were all in good condition, the Landlord particularly so. I can only say that we were very happy with our lunch, the staff and the beer and will return.

Had an average pub lunch, would not recommend going to Denham village for pub lunches if you are coming from a fair way as the people are so hostile towards families. There are more cars than people.

OMG the sandwich story puts me off eating there now. I am not anti this place, have drunk there a few times and what i had was fine. But i do find it odd that it is so small and yet has this fancy menu at restaurant prices yet it is hardly a restaurant. Also given the size of th eplace they cannot possibly turn over enough food to ensure frsshness of such an ambitious menu methinks. Sounds like I was right given the bread was off! And at 4.50 per simple sarnie I'd expect a big fresh homebaked slice and fantastic fresh fillings and garnish too.

Bitters included Brakespeares, Archers and Timothy Taylor Landlord. I tried the Archers and TTL but neither were any where near as good as I have tasted elsewhere. I was also offended by the very aggressive manner of one of the staff members. It is a shame because Denham is a very pretty village and still worth a visit. Fortunately there are two other pubs just a few yards away.

My wife and I called by The Falcon Brasserie for a lunchtime sandwich last week. The printed menu advertised a small variety of sandwiches including cheese and pickle but on ordering we were told that the chef had no pickle and they offered us cheese and onion or tomato instead. Fine not a big issue and we paid our 9.00 and went to the garden (littered with posters telling customers what they can't do!) and after a long wait our food arrived. Plain wholemeal value bread of poor quality with a few lettue leaves and a couple of crisps as accompaniment.
I had eaten one of my quarters and my wife had had a couple of bites of hers before she complained to me that they tasted off. On investigation there was green mould on the bread! Not a nice thought at 4.50 a round.
They were replaced by similar sandwiches and an apology but the bread was hard and on complaining to the manager again he said it was a new loaf he had seen the chef open.
If they want to make nice sandwiches and sell them for 4.50 a round I suggest really nice fresh crusty bread and not 'value' bread; and an attractive salad.

Denham is just the most gorgeous English village and you really must check it out. As for its pubs, the Falcn Inn is my favourite, for its beer garden alone, but also there was this fit Scandanavian or continential blonde girl working in there to add to the experience! ha ha! Shame though, the lemonade she served me tasted more like fizzy water, but I seemingly stupidly had lemonade from thee again, and it was much nicer! Grub is nice. Unable to comment on the beer though, so I guess to many, my post for this pub is pretty damn pointless!

Sat in the "garden" over a couple of drinks on a lovely evening. Very pleasant. Friendly staff and good service. Keep meaning to go back and try the food..........

The beer is excellent. The food is good but perhaps a bit pricey.
However, you need to watch out as they will offer to bring your drinks to your table and then wack you for a 10% "optional" service charge. I know it's "optional", but if the practice was visible in the bar area I certainly did not see it! And come on... this is a pub!
