would book before you turn up, its always busy here and they don't offer any alternative or suggest they could squeeze you in.

Had an average pub lunch, would not recommend going to Denham village for pub lunches if you are coming from a fair way as the people are so hostile towards families. There are more cars than people.

The Green Man, Denham

For families with young children - to be avoided !!
Although the sign outside suggests it has a childrens playground at the rear, the staff would rather not let families go in. A very hostile barmaid told us that babies were not allowed and when I questioned why, she had no real reason and said it was 'policy'. Isn't that unbelievable? i have been to many central london pubs and restaurants with my baby with no problem. I found Denham overall quite an unfriendly place for a Tuesday lunchtime before Christmas.
