Busy city pub with plenty of sports on the telly and a decent range of ales. Found it more pub like and a bit less snotty than some city centre bars.

Decent ales but most expensive pub on the street - Peroni my lager drinking acquaintance had was £3.95...

3.35 for a pint of Brew Dog's Trashy Blonde!!!! A much nicer pub than Melville's across the road - where a pint of Caledonian's Gathering Ale was an astonishing 2.35...

Nice pub which is very rugby orientated. Well worth a visit compared to the bars it's beside - Melvilles (like a working man's club) and Bert's Bar (lit like a hospital).

Been closing at 12 for a while now 'cause the local residents complained, when asked about it the last few times the staff denied it, still got huckled out promptly so took ma business elsewhere.

Friendly bar. And a bonus, the loos are on the same level.
Certainly one to be re-visted. It's nice to find a bar in th ecity centre that isn't full of tourists.

Found it quite difficult to get a seat, but it does gorgeous long vodkas. Great restaurant downstairs, too.

Very decent boozer with good beers. Try the food downstairs.

Friendly staff and good selection of ales and whiskies but very expensive. The quality of product and service is sufficiently good that it is almost worth paying a bit more. Convenient for last drink before bus home because it stays open to 1am.

Superb range of real Ales and whiskys. Good staff and it has the sort of ambience you want for a quiet drink

Where did this bar spring from?! I accidently stumbled across it one day, and I have to say i'm impressed. Really nice bar, with a decent pint, and it's easy to have a conversation because of the lack of ear bursting music!
