Rumburgh Buck, Rumburghback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The Buck was certainly one of the best pubs we tried in Suffolk yesterday. It has quite a characterful interior with 3 ales and 3 ciders. The ales were Barrell and Sellers Pale Ale, Mauldons Silver Adder & Lacons Dark Mild. Ciders were Burnards Oakey Dokey & Monty's Double & Westons Family Reserve. A perry was on the blackboard, but had run out. There are 2 or 3 small rooms inside and people were arriving for Sunday lunch. We sat in the small rear garden, which also has a patio area to relax in the sun (assuming it is shining).

What a great pub, I can see why it's pub of the year. Welcoming and friendly. Only had a beer at lunchtime but will be back in the evening. The beer was in good condition, Barrel and Sellers, a new brewery, tradional bitter at £3.20 a pint. Has 4 beers on hand pump, usually 1 dark. Pub is comprised of many small rooms. Food looked reasonably priced.

It was Suffolk Pub of the Year in 2012 and North East Suffolk Cider Pub of the Year in 2013. It has all sorts of acoustic music sessions and is home to Rumburgh Morris. You have to go a long way to find a better pub. Always someone to talk to. Has traditional pub games; darts, dominoes, cards, shove ha'penny and pokey die.

Excellent pub. Traditional Suffolk interior. Beer very good. Food okay.

Had a cracking night there last night, some memorial darts night on, had a lovely meal nothing fancy just traditional pub food. The beer was good Nethergate, Woodfordes, Adnams and Green Jack on. The Nethergate not quite spot on but barrel went with the next pint and the landlord came over to ask if it was ok because the barrel had gone and changed my pint with no problems which was great. Will not hesitate to go again. A real traditional village freehouse.

Wonderful, traditional old village pub that's full of character. Has several seperate areas with stone floors and wooden furniture. Turned up on a Wednesday night and there were some folk musicians sat at a table jamming together. Staff were friendly, welcoming and a real pleasure to talk to. Ales on that night (midweek) were Adnams Best, Brandon Rusty Bucket, an orange wheat beer, a blonde wheat beer and there was also a Thatcher's real cider. All of which were lovely. An exceptionally well run village pub that deserved the recent CAMRA award IMO.

Been here twice now. Beer is very well kept and served well. On the pumps, when we went, was Adnams, (what a surprise), Woodforde's and Dr. Okell. Dangerous stuff this, a real tasty brew that is a little too easy to drink. The food is good, plain pub grub, nothing fancy. I recommend the Fish and Chip specials on Monday and Tuesday. Very good indeed and good value.

Lovely old pub with waht looks like original furniture. Nethergate real ale and excellent food at reasonable price; well worth a revisit.

The original building is 15th century with bits being added on over the last 20-40 years. There is a series of interlocking rooms each with its own special atmosphere. Always a choice of 4 real ales using mostly east anglian breweries. Currently CAMRA's Suffolk Pub Of The Year 2007, and in the running for Eastern Region Pub Of Year. Wooden Settles and York Stone and brick flooring throughout, in CAMRA's Inventory of Historic and Special Pub Interiors. Well worth a visit!

Not been here for years and years....
Pleasant enough pub some way down the Wissett Road...

Attractive Pub in the centre of a small village, inside the ceilings are quite low, but at six foot did'nt have to duck much, settles and old wooden tables abound giving a pleasant feel to the place, it's quite dark (but not dingy) inside which adds to the atmosphere, three / four ales on offer which apparently change quite frequently, judging by comments overheard, it seems the food is good too, I think there is a garden but did'nt see it this time, although its a little bit out of the way it would be worth a visit.
