Recently under new management (Again!), now having a policy of no children under 10 years old.
I did not eat there, but there is now Thai food being served.
The beer was well kept and served with a smile. Overall a more pleasant experience than my first (and last until recently) visit some time ago.

Nicely refurbished. Friendly staff. Good beer. Food average but good prices. Sky Sports on several screens. Pool table. Cracking barmaid.

Tried this too, however a distinct lack of imagination on the beer front & needs a complete clean up !
Amazed it survives like this.

this has totally gone down hill!!! hardly ever go in anymore, not a good atmosphere at all!

Now no longer staying open to 2am, following vandalism in their garden and in the nearby square!

Unpretentious drinking house, used mostly by locals. The beer is good, though it is not always easy to get served, as everyone stays at the bar, rather than use the seats available! Not oneto drive miles for, but not too bad either!

Not a pub for me.
I walked into to be greeted by a wall of stares from the locals at the bar. No space to get through them to the bar, had to be served over someones shoulder. Had a not bad half (sadly) and left quickly.
