Hunters Bar, Ealingback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Now called The Ashbourne, this is more of a bar than a pub. Located amidst the chaos of unlovely Hanger Lane, it was lurid orange walls and a sticky floor. Functional at best.

It's not bad. Shame that they don't do football but a little cosy and friendly pub. Gets really busy on weekends.

After my experience at the Walrus, I was doubtful about this place, but my lad says it's his local, so in we went. After standing at the bar for ten minutes, I checked to see if I was wearing camouflage gear; I wasn't, but I thought I may have become invisible, and when I walked back outside I was greeted by my companions with shouts of "Where's the beer?", I sat down to see if anyone else noticed me. Then the aforementioned lad came and asked "Where's the beer?", whereupon I indicated the open door, he went in and came back with Stella Artois. Not my favourite drink, but I had a couple, as there was no proper beer as such. Somewhat quirky place. Great atmosphere, and if they had a proper ale it would score maximum points. (It hasn't, so it didn't)

Stayed In Crowne Plaza opposite but to avoid paying 4.10 A PINT there we came here,Friendly barman but sadly no real ale (although we werent expecting any). My fosters was ok but my mate's guinness smelt of bleach! 5/10

visite recently and the barman was very friendly but served a disgusting pint of san miquel.

To be fair there is an eclectic taste in decor which seemed quite strange to me when I first walked in Hunters doors.
But the friendly atmosphere of the punters, owners and bar staff is what make this place so special.Usually I don't see the atmosphere in the high street pubs this place has loads.
A very cosmopolitan pub and very nice people.
Would recommend for all ages

The only pub on the Hanger Lane Giratory. Useful for visitors to the Holiday Inn Ealing. Is a Bar, not a pub, has no real ale, but has 2 Polish beers on draught (Tyskie and Lech, both of which I like), at 2.80/pint 27/3/07. Sorry I'm a Yorkshireman. All the local off-licences describe themselves as Polski sklep 's, and sell Polish beer, I got bottled Tyskie at 1.09/500ml.

This is the coolest place in the whole wide world. I have spent all my time there during 2002 onwards. It became my home even now living back in South Africa. Damon, you are the greatest! Best of luck!

This pub is definitely something else. It has art work on the walls (painted by cave dwellers?), cheap booze, a suprisingly modern TV set-up, the owner's aunts old sofa collection, a 'why-have-the-kebab-shop-separate-when-you-can-have-a-one-stop-shop-kebab-and-pub',pool tables in also very surprisingly good nick.. and yes friendly staff, and happy punters. This pub exudes a strange magnetic draw...

A fun pub that caters for all ages, there's always different things happening, brilliant drink deals and a smashing menu. Big screen TV that shows all the main sport. Damen (the landlord) is a character and always gives you a warm welcolm. Definatly worth a visit.
