Bog standard Wetherspoons without any real redeeming or exceptional features - the beer variety is sometimes reasonable

Good for drinks, but avoid food in there at all costs. On three occasions we have been let down (once they forgot our order, burger was raw and paper in kids pasta, not very nice experience.

Great REAL ALES when they have them but they soon run out think they maybe only get one barrel of each guest ale at a time. For us the best is OLD EMPIRE and ABBOT RESERVE We love Curry Night which is every Thursday and its amazing you get a great tasting curry with a lot of trimmings and you can have a pint of guest ale or a glass of house wine ,all for a fiver You cant beat that anywhere, also its a great atmosphere with a good mix of youngsters and not so youngs,it can get busy at times but even if it does it is well worth the wait Heres a little tip .You can get a bowl of chips to go with your curry for 50p but you wont find it on the menu (Not a lot of people know that)

Bog standard Wetherspoons pub, cheap but there are better pubs in the town. Strange assortment of characters - bookies runners, tobacco sellers, the trenchcoat brigade.

As the other reviewers say, this is a typical Wetherspoon's pub but the book-lined upper bar is definitely worth a visit.

I stayed in Kettering last weekend and visited this pub with my dad. We both enjoyed the hospitality and the ale and food were great.

it's a weatherspoons, what you see is what you get

2-floored wetherspoons, cheap food, cheap drinks,.. smokey old man atmosphere in the daytime, gets very busy at weekends with groups looking for cheap thrills. staff seem polite enough, but nothing above and beyond!!

We were in kettering for a day out and were looking for a nice pub for lunch and that welcomes families. On the window it said families welcome and when we went in with our daughter and her pushchair we were asked to leave by the staff. Why say on the window that families are welcome when you can not take there means of getting around into the pub.
