Pierhead Restaurant and Bar, Voeback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Only fizz on tap, but Valhalla is available in bottles. Biggest praise is for the food. I go along wholeheartedly with previous comments.

A very good pub. Stocks three varieties of the local Valhalla ales. My wife said her (huge) haddock bar meal was the best fish she had ever had and they served me a very good steak-filled Yorkshire pud. There is a bod (camping barn) opposite - could avoid driving by staying the night.

We stumbled on this pub by accident. Never would have seen it except for our lack of meal planning. We returned from Yell starving and without prospects of finding a restaurant in northern Shetland still open, as it was after 9 on a weekday. We found the Pierdale pub and, though they had closed the kitchen, we implored the proprietor to sell us any kind of food, bread, cheese, anything! She invited us in to order our choice from the menu, we happily (and gratefully) gobbled up the food and left so they could finish closing. The food was great, I had curry chicken and the sauce was savory with a nice kick. My wife had seafood chowder and my son had fried shrimp, it was all fantastic. I would not have expected such food in what appeared to be a simple neighborhood pub filled with local folk and not "on the map" as a visitor attraction. When we left, we were greeted with a stunning site of a sunset with the sky perfectly reflected in the water of the Voe. I strongly recommend visiting at sunset, or any time you want great food and a nice beer.

Lovely lunchtime food, good service, could teach the Lerwick pubs a thing or do about service.
