Pub looks like it is geared up for pubgrub on a large scale.
Not really a cosy pub for a pint we had one then left but I'm sure it would be ok for food.

Changed hands a few weeks ago and when I visited had two real ales instead of the previous single offering, I enjoyed two well presented pints of Jail Ale. Also advertises free childrens play area and was very busy serving food, seems like new Guv'ner has better ideas.

Expensive and very average food. Had to pay to use the ball pool even though we eat there. Would not go again

Not much atmosphere, shabby garden, but plenty of space and newspapers.

Been here a number of times and the food is quite good. The chief at the carvery is a right miserable sod! Good ale, play area, telly and some quite tasty Polish staff ;) Not a bad little pub.

Went to this pub in January 2006 during my timeshare week in Newquay. The staff were really pleasant and the food superb and reasonably priced. The beer was well-kept (good old Betty Stoggs) and even the locals were nice to us tourists! Can't fault it (other than the decoration in the gents - a facelift is long overdue). If you're anywhere near Newquay you should give this place a try. The locals told me that the landlord has recently taken over and on this showing he deserves to do very well indeed. Wish I didn't live 250 miles away 'cos I'd go there a lot more often.

Quality pub for a swift one before a night out in Newquay, or for a quiet drink. Traditional pub but also caters for younger people too. Sells a wide range of drinks from Stella etc through to a pint of Doom. Brilliant video jukebox, big play area outside, pool table, darts. Oh and the foods amazing
