Terrible - with no redeeming qualities. I went to a friend's work Christmas Party on 18 December. Food was served, however, the took most of it away very early - which wasn't that bad it was pretty poor. The atmosphere is like a youth club crossed with Butlins. The worst thing, by far, were the security and management staff - rude, obnoxious and generally unfriendly. My friend's company was paying for a free bar and free games so you would expect them to be pleased we were there. We were told the party would go on until midnight. At 11:30 we started getting hassle to leave (not politely!) - we were all out by 11:45. This is a truly awful place.

Went there last week with 6 other people. We went there for the bowling, arcades, dogems ECT. Three of us went down to the bar to get a drink. It was quite dark down there and didn't look particularly nice. It was 3.50 for a bottle of beer being in London. If your going to namco station and fancy a drink fine but I wouldn't go there just to have a drink in the bar.

OK..i was desperate! Ventured in the Namco again the other weekend to watch the 6 Nations rugby. It was an all important Irish game, ok, I had to see it! I found the least smokey part of the bar, which on this occasion happened to be next to the pool tables, no worries. But I couldn't help but notice a homeless person sleeping in a comfy chair a couple of tables away! I thought, ok, staff will turf'em out pretty soon.. well can you believe it, I got moved by the staff..! 'Cos that area was booked for a party in an hours time, so I missed the second half of the rugby!! Its ok for a 'free-loading' tramp to sleep undisturbed there for 2hours or more, but a fair-paying customer gets moved on..!! Hey 'Namco' management, is that good business..? Sort your priorities out..!! TJ

went in last night as was over the south bank and thought why not lets go and get depressed , went in and played a few games then too the bar part of which a private party , was quite concerned about a young person walking around obviously drunk clutching a empty bottle of smirnoff ice , had one pint of fizz and left pretty sharpish as ive said before avoid at all costs , only fit for tourists and people with more money than taste

only for the desperate.

went in here a week or so ago with a few friends after walking around the southbank we thought we would have a look in here and see if the reviews were as bad as everyones said ...... its much much worse , we ordered 3 pints of fosters and then went n saw the pool tables , what romfordir said about being striped up is true pay by the minute not the game , which is ok if your fast players but after a day on the fizzy stuff fast is a word you cant comprehend think it cost us a tenner for 4 games of pool , and the beer was awful as well , we took them back and the barmaid (typical eastern european) wasnt happy bout changing them , im summary a grotty , dingy , awful excuse for a bar , only there for tourists and idiots avoid , walk across westminster bridge theres a pub at the other side which is better by miles

Yeah...this is a 'wild' place! Its actually the closest bar to the 'London Eye', so if you need a drink (or a loo urgently) after spending 25mins trapped in a slow moving tourist 'pod', this bar is quite handy. But thats all it is. If you can fight your way passed the 'MacDonalds' and through all the screaming brats on all the raucous slot-machines & video games, AND find your way down the right escalator, and then turn down the correct stairs, you may find the underground bar, but it is well hidden in the dark & down in the bowels of 'County Hall'! And all the noise may actually put you off, and scare you out of the building completely! Best of luck! And thats if you actually get to the bar.. there's no guarantee you'll get served if you even make it that far..!! (I was lucky, it was a cold day, not too many folk had ventured out, so I managed to get a drink!) Go here if you dare! You have been warned! TJ

Dark cold and ever so slightly horrible. Toss hole for those who should be @ school, tourists, pervy old men and the unemployed.
Quite possibly the polar opposite of what most sane peole would consider an acceptbale drinking venue.
BTW..........the beer is crap as well!
