There are things I really like about this pub, the food, the staff and the ambience but the ale lets it down. TT Landlord has been a permanent fixture since the pub's refurbishment and the other two beers do not rotate enough. I would visit more regularly if the ale was more varied. I think the pub is missing a trick, particularly since The Clifton closed sometime ago.

Currently visiting a pub for every station on the London Overground. Did this for Kilburn High Road. Found it to be a very friendly pub, decent couple of real ales on (had Tim Taylor Landlord). Ate in here and found the food to be very good, slightly pricey but not overly so. Were setting up for a Poker evening. Pub was very quiet though, hope it gets more custom as it deserves it. Will visit again!

Well kept beer, good food, and friendly staff. A perfect 'local', but well worth a visit from afar. Sometimes pretty quiet, but that can be nice. Even on quiet nights it's usually an interesting bunch of patrons. A good pub on its own terms, and far better than anything else around this part of town.

Not too bad a refurb. Only the ubiquitous Adnams and Landlord on the ale front but they were both drinkable which is something in itself for a pub in NW6.

Having read the good reports about the Sunday Roast, I visited yesterday with a group of five friends. I'd like to echo the positive reveiws already posted before. The roast served here is superb, friendly staff and the fact the pub was nearly empty adds to the relaxed atmosphere. I've given a high rating based purely on the Sunday afternoon/ meal experience. Knowing most of the pubs well in the area, this is my pick for Sundays.

Looks grotty from the outside but that's deceptive. Nicely done out interior, friendly barman and an extra mark for the pint of Landlord coming in a glass with a handle. A real contrast to the grottiness of Kilburn High Road.

Recently reopened and much improved - now easily the best pub in the area after the Black Lion.

Kilburn locals- living here and working here- come and support this pub! We've just enjoye d some reasonably priced good quality wine and fish n chips (2 for the price of 1) on a quiet Monday night. The thing is, this pub is new and really needs our local support. If you come here and think "oh noones here, it must be rubbish" just come in for a beer and talk to the friendly staff and relax. You won't regret it...!

Nestled just off the Kilburn High Road, the Priory Tavern offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Serving cask Ale, Wines and Specialty Spirits (we do an interesting line up of gin!) alongside English and French dishes from a homemade Cottage Pie to Moules Marinieres and daily specials. The Priory Burger is especially popular! Live Music (on selected dates), backgammon and a beautifully restored original wood bar and floor contrasted with some contemporary furniture complete the picture. WEEKDAY LUNCHES - A Fiver for any dish from the Pub Favourites Menu MONDAY DINNER - 2 for 1 Fish and Chips, homemade tartar sauce and mushy peas SATURDAY DINNER - FREE Wine for every person dining EVERY DAY - Happy Hour, House Doubles+Mixer only 3.50 SUNDAY'S - Superb Sunday Roast, Extra Gravy, backgammon, Sunday papers and chilled music - Children welcome daily until 7pm - Dogs at our discretion (please ask first) - Thu-Sat, Open until midnight

Almost exclusivley frequented by locals, though its not in any way threatening or unfriendly. Popular on Sundays for football especially if Arsenal or Chelsea are playing. Reasonable drinks at reasonable prices

Have now made amends and have visited here again. Pleasantly surprised too. It has loads of irrelevant tat on the walls which I really like in a pub, but was hideously quiet for a Friday night. Has a fair approximation of Courage Best on tap at more than fair prices. Well, it was once the dozy old barman gave me the correct change. He short-changed me outrageously - not just a case of mistaking a note for another note - and then refused to believe me. He only gave up once I could give a description of the fiver I gave him. Luckily it was one of those old ones that had been thrown back in my face by supermarkets etc all week...

Very much a local. I think this was the second pub I ever went to in Kilburn, but I don't think I've been back. Not that it's particularly bad or anything, I just haven't.
What a helpful review, eh?

Very local but a very good atmosphere. Friendly staff and patrons. Reasonably quiet, dartboard is a bonus, just very very cosy.
